First let me apologize to my faithful readers. I have not blogged in a really long time for me and for that I apologize. I cannot begin to (nor do I have the time or energy to) express the amount of pressure and stress I am under right now with work and the multiple hats I wear in my life. I simply do not have any free time to commit to blogging.
However in the mean time I wanted to share this post from the Rhino-Den. Everyone has heard about the oxygen thieves at Westboro Church and what they do, so this is a great first-person account of the patriotism demonstrated when great Americans come together.
Once we pulled into town, the first thing I noticed was a quiet solitude with those who had already gathered. There were about 500 or so already gathered when we arrived 2 hours early. It was not a festive atmosphere but more of a quiet respect; with people of all walks of life, united by the cause and a desire to pay respects to a fallen soldier quietly talking within their small groups.
