This is the 4th year of the milbloggies and the 2nd time I have made it into the Voting phase. I am honored and flattered to be among so many nobel and outstanding bloggers like my very dear friend CJ Grisham, and good friends and great guys like Chuck Ziegenfuss and Bryan Carroll amongst others. The competition is tough this year and since I have made it to the voting phase (which ends this Wednesday the 7th of April at 11:59PM) I have to go large or go home….and I ain’t going home.
So I am asking all of you my readers, friends and fans to take a few minutes out of your day to Register at milblogging.com (http://milblogging.com/signup.php?p=1 ) if you haven’t already, and then go to http://milblogging.com/votestandings.php?mode=branch and vote for the Bouhammer’s Afghan and Military Blog in the US Army category.
For anyone who may not know, the milbloggie is essentially the Oscar, Tony, Golden Globe and heck even the Nobel Peace Prize of military blogs (milblogs). This is the grand kahuna for us milblogs. So with over 2633 milblogs registered on milblogging.com you can see why I am so grateful and honored to be one of the TOP 5 in the final US Army category.
There are other categories also and in case you are not familiar with them (and since you are already registered to vote) I will give you my recommendations on who to vote for. In some of the categories I have several friends that write milblogs so in those I will give you all my recommendations for you to pick from.
